Check a folder in your browser.
Pick the folder you open your AI tool in, usually the project root. The check runs in this tab: files are read, masked and checked here, and nothing is uploaded. The browser only sees the folder you pick, so to check the settings on your computer as well, run the command.

Agent files are read and checked. Your code, dependencies and git history are skipped, and credential files like .env are listed by name only. If your browser asks to “upload” the folder, that's its word for letting this tab read it: nothing leaves your computer.
On a phone or tablet? The check reads only the files you can pick there. Your AI tools keep their settings on your computer, so run the command there for the full check.
